Anne Fougeron will show the last decade of her firm’s work with a special emphasis on adaptive reuse and urban infill housing. Fougeron Architecture’s work furthers discussion and debate on the housing trends in the Bay Area, specifically infill housing projects on sites which were once abandoned or freeway overpasses. These projects are excellent examples of the kinds of difficulties architects in Northern California face: reshaping existing sites in the hopes of re-innovating and reinvigorating neighborhoods.
